Make note of special dates
“Oftentimes the support is strong in the immediate aftermath and then wanes over time. Birthdays or the anniversary of a loss can be just as difficult and often arrive without the strong network of support checking in, Hubbell explains. Setting a calendar reminder can help you to show up for a friend throughout the year.”
